Tia really outdid herself!

My husband and I have been living in our Sugar Land home since 2015. Our twins were only 2 when we moved in at that time and we made do with some basic furniture for a few years. However, as the kids have gotten older we felt like we needed more of a "grown-up" feel...and the furniture we had, didn't really go with our home. Someone in my neighborhood Facebook group recommended Tia and I knew I was going to hire her when I spoke to her for the first time. There was something so calming and patient about her. I loved her portfolios and I knew she was going to be the best designer for us!

We completely redecorated our main level. Tia helped me get out of my comfort zone (wallpaper?!) but it still ended up being exactly what I wanted. I loved her vision and she really took to heart what kind of feel we wanted in our home. From the window treatments, to the accent pieces, to every last detail...Tia really outdid herself. It's been 3 months since we finished and I still come home everyday and look at my house and can't believe this is all mine! I can't thank Tia and her team enough! My husband and I enjoyed our kitchen/living room/dining room renovation, and it was all because of D. Claire Designs. Upon contacting Tia, she came in with a couple of days to give us a rough drawing of the renovation so we could get an idea of what to expect. Upon hiring Tia, we had no problems contacting her, since she was always available when needed. She did all of the footwork finding the cabinets, tile, counter top, sink and paint color for the renovation. When it was time for the construction to begin, she provided us with some reliable contractors. The one we chose was above and beyond what we could ever expect from a contractor. To be "D. Claired" means to have every aspect of your space designed - every single detail. Tia put the exact amount of effort and flair in the last item she selected for our home as she did the first. It was from Tia that I truly understood the meaning of re-visioning! My husband and I have been in our home for almost 21/2 years, but it wasn't until we were "D. Claired" that it genuinely felt like home. She listened, and she flexed to our style. She took our ideas and elevated them beyond our expectations. I often sit in our space in awe - I still can't believe this is my house! She designed custom woodwork that looks like it has been here the entire time. Not only did she give us a beautiful space that reflects our family's heritage, but she also gave us peace. Our two-year-old son was officially diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at 15 months. Our new space supports and promotes his development. The different textures - soft, plush, smooth, quilted, safely rugged - have been so fun for our son to explore! When my realtor brought up an interior designer, I felt like it was unnecessary, and I wasn't sure I needed one. I didn't think anyone could understand my style or know what I truly wanted in my home.
